Catxo began his career at the age of 23 at Canal+, as a concert and musical programme director. After this, he worked as executive producer at Disney, and then began working as an advertising commercials director, a profession he has now been carrying out for ten years.

He is currently represented in more than 20 countries, including the USA, Europe, the Middle East and Latin America. He has directed more than 200 advertisements and his work has been awarded on a multitude of occasions at different festivals, both for advertising and for TV-promos: Sol , Cannes, Ojo Ibérico, Promax, New York Festivals, Anda Awards, etc.

In 2013 he made his first feature film: “Temporary”, a black comedy, a bitter comedy, a comedy in a bad mood, a film where you don’t know if you should laugh or cry. A story that talks about the consequences of the crisis on Spain’s working environment over the past years, “Temporary” has been selected and has won some prizes in plenty of different film festivals all around the world.

Catxo has worked for clients like Coca Cola, Nestle, Danone, just to name a few.
